ed from this establishment. The Acauemy is fur
nished with an extensive Chemical, Philosophical
and Astronomical apparatus, together w.th a num
ber ol large and elegant maps, and other facilities
for the promotion ol education. In view ol the lo
cality of Fanners Academy situated as it is in one
oi the most pleasant and healthful sections eftheup
country, together with its other ad vintages, the sub
scriber does not hesitate to promise to pupils, a lar
ger amount of benefit than ho lies been able hereto
lore to give them. Fvery precaution that a prudent

the cargo aboard of said boat, and furthermore for
bids any boat owner,their agent or patroon.to permit
any boat hand being a slave; to put on board ol their
