the PATENT FEATHER DRESSER,
for this Slate, would respectfully inform the citi
zens of Augusta and vicinity, that they have one
of said Machines in successful operation in Alcln
tosh street, corner of Reynolds.
The werk is done entirely hy the operation o(
Steam, no fire coming near the Feathers, and no
possibility ol scorching or otherwise injuring them.
By this operation all moths are destroyed and re
.moved, without loss or waste of Feathers ; on the
contrary, the hulk is very much increased, many
titaes one half,— nothing being removed but small
particles of dint, (fee. They are also cleansed ami
purified from all disagreeable smell that often at
tends Feathers, and arc entirely cleansed and dried,
and have the appearance and essential qualities of
New Feathers.
They would invite all house-keepers, and those
who prefer sleeping on pure and soft beds—who
study health and economy, to try, ami prove I lie
Steam Feather Renovator.
All persons arc invited to call and sec the Ma
chine and its operation, and he convinced of s
utility.
N. B.—The inhabitants of the town can, by
rioiifyyng the subscribers, have their beds taken
from their dwellings and relumed the same day
well dressed and re. dy lor immediate use, for $2 75
provided ihey do not contain more than 35 pounds

f beds in early in the morning, usually have them
the same day.
Any person that will try' the experiment, may
send them a bed or beds, of anv quality of Feathers,
Irom the best and newest, to the oldest and poorest
Ihey have, provided they are cither Geosc or Duck
Feather*, and may he assured, no charge will ho
made, in any ease, unless perfect satisfaction he
