DIED,
At Windsor, on the 9th inst., Dr. John Dent,
aged 47 years. In his ptofession, he was skiillul
and eminent. The ceitainty, with which he had
often t’oietold the dissolution of others, tailed not
in foretcling his own. The almost intuitive sa
gacity, with which he detected disease, might, un
der happier auspices, have been an important ele
ment in erecting in Ins profession a school of his
own, from which his disciples might have gone
forth, as the bonefacto sos their race. Hut, as
the child of genius, he met with as many trials as
triumphs.
