hitherto met a market for its products, almost ex
clusively at home. ’1 he Mill is built on the most
approved plan, of granite, 290 feet by 45, four sto
nes high, and is now buthalf filled with machinery.
The Machinery is of the very best description and
finish. The Slaves are trained to the operations
of tire Mill. The Louisville, Cincinnati, and
, Charleston Kail Road, is expected to he completed
to Columbia, in the course of a year, winch will
greatly facilitate the transportation and delivery
of its manufactured goods.

warranted to give as much satisfaction, as to qual
ity and price, as those purchased by any other house
in the city.
C otton sent us by Rail Road, will bo taken from
the Denoi to our Ware House, and no charge will
be made for drayage.
Lotion sent by Rail Rod, shou d be branded,
and accompanied by written instructions to the
Agent of the Company, slating, to whom it is con
signed in Augusta ; it being the duty of said Agent
(as the Company advertises,) to receive and for
ward all Cotton and ( Goods free of charge. Any

Being yet blessed with health, and our usual en
ergies and capacities for business, we are now at
our posts, prepared to serve customers, whose or

All Cotton consigned to Thomas Dawson, will be
taken f.om the Railroad deposit at Augusta, to his
Fire Proof arehousc, without any charge for
drayage. Also, goods consigned to him, and or
dered sent by the Railroad, will be received and
forwarded at twenty-live cents a package.
All orders for Bagging, Groceiies, Re., will he
forwarded at the lowest market prices ; having no
groceries of his own, he will make the best and
cheape t selections for his customers.
