Dame was elected as county school
commissioner to till his unexpired
term. Mr. Dickerson has been a
faithful officer and resigned this
office to take charge of a higher one
Senator from the fifth district, Mr,
Daroc is now elected to the office
of School Commissioner for a
period of five years.

It is with much pride that I
you concerning the G. N. C
B. I. of Douglas Ga. and the
students from Clinch who are
equiping themselves to more suc¬
cessful battlle with the many
difficults problems of life.
The Teachers of this institute
always admire Clinch Countv stu¬
dents ahead of all others, some
of the very best students this
school has ever produced are boys
and girls who were horned and
raised in the flat woods of Clinch
county.
During the coming commence¬
ment which will be from the 12th
to the 15 of June, the G. N. C.
will graduate over one hundred
students breaking all records of

Clinch is represented by only
students. Miss Lillie Mae
Hamilton J. W. Timmerman T.
M. Browning and H. C. .'/organ
but we are striving with our ut¬
most efforts to keep the banner
waving that our predecessors
hoissed several years ago.
Out of the four who represent
Clinch only two will graduate
Hiss Billie Mae Hamilton of near
Kirkland will complete scintific
and Mr- H. C. Morgan of Lyken
will complete teachers course.
Only two more weeks and the
books will all be laid aside: the
old school bell will cease to toll
and we will return to our homes
to spend a few weeks with the
loved ones who are awaiting
our return.
