A PANTS
FACTORY
MR. G. W. CLiNE WILL HAVE ONE
IN FULL OPERATION WITHIN
TWO MONTHS.
Every day now anew enterprise
seems to appear in Brunswick or
Glynn county.
The latest is a pants factory which
will be in full operation within sixty
days. This factory will be started by
Mr. G. W. Cline, foe well known pro
prietor of the Brunswick Steam Latin
dry.
Mr. Cline has purchased the build
ing just north of Wrench’s job print
ing establishment, which by the way,
it one of the best sites in the city.
He has had the building thoroughly
overhauled, and within a short time
will remove his laundry there. The
pants factory will he run in eoanec
tiiii with the laun'.fry. Mr. Cline
says cue factory will have a capacity
of 300 pairs of pants per day, and
he will manufacture every grade, from
a common pair of jeans to the high
est-priced pants. Mr. Cline has al
ready ordered all (he machinery nec
essary to manufacture the goods and
will get started as early as possible.
This will mean considerable for
Bn ms wick, as some forty or fifty
hands will he employed aim the week
ly payrolls will lie keenly felt by our
merchants.
Mr. Cline will no doubt make a
success of I lie business. Under his
management the Brunswick Steam
Laundry has been a paying business
and lie now has one of tin’ best
equipped laundries in the state, ami
turns out excellent work.
Besides manufacturing pants, the
new factory will also manufacture
overalls, etc.
