The petition of C. P. Goodyear, Sr.
O. Downing, W. E. Dempster, Walter
B. Isaac, and C. P. Goodyear, Jr., all
of Glynn county, Georgia, respect
fully snows:
First. That they desire to he incor
porated under the name and style of
the ‘'Brunswick Paint Oil &. Varnish
Company" for a term 01 twenty
years, with the principal place of bus
iness al Brunswick Georgia and tlie

elsewhere and umploying agents in
this state, the United Slates and for
eign countries.
Second. The object of said com
pany is to engage in manufacturing
and selling goods for profit, and the
principal business which they desire
to engage in is the manufacture of
paint, oil, vaniittes, infixed paints,
and sale of the same.
Third. The capital stock of saidi
company to bei fifty thousand dol
lars ($50,(100). in shares of one hun
dred dollars each, one-half com
mon stock and one half thereof to
be cumulative, participating prefer
red seven (7) iter cent, divi
dend paying stock, that is to
say that before the common
stock shall receive dividends , there
shall first lie paid to the preferred
stock a seven per cent dividend,, and
if for any yqar earnings are insuffi
cient to pay all or any portion of such
seven per t ent dividend, that such un

shall be paid to said preferred stock
