NEED MORE DOCK ROOM.
Boats from Across, the Rfyer Some
Times Shut Out.
The city owns two or three public
docks, but only one is used to any
treat extent and that is the foot of
Monk street..
As the country along the river is
now being rapidly developed, the num
ber of boats increase until now there
is hardly room to accommodate them
at tht' public dock.
Quite frequently large shell and
sand boats monopolize the entire
space at the city landing, foot of
Monk, and the small crafts of the
country traders have to land some
other place.
