PETITION FOR CHARTER.
STATE OF GEORGIA,
COUNTY OF GLYNN.
To the Superior Court of Said county:
The petition of E. C. Machen, Ed
win Brobsltou, Albert Fendig and E.
it. Mason, all of said state and coun
ty, and A. B. Coley, of the state of
New York, respectfully shows:
I. That petioners desire for
themselves and such other persons- as
may hereinafter be associated with
them, to be incorporated under the
eorporatjp name and style of "The
Brunswick and Birmingham Develop
ment Company.”
11. That the object of said pro
posed corporation is pecuniary gain
to its members, and its special objects
are to buy, hold, own and improve
lands and real estate generally, and
to sell exchange or otherwise dispose
of the .same; to receive donations of
Lea! estate and other property; to de
velop mineral lands; to develop town
sites and to encourage immigration
to the localities in which it may be
come interested; i > receive donations,
of and to buy, own, hold and sell
stocks and bonds and other securities
and personal property of any kind;
and generally to do such other acts
and things as may be deemed for the
best. Interests of such corporation,
which shall not conflict witn the laws
of Georgia.
111. That the principal oflice of
the proposed corporation shall bo in
the city oi Brunswick, in said county
of Glynn, with the 'right' to establish
branches or agencies a' any other
point and in any other town; or conn
ty in Georgia or Alabama, or else
where in the United States.
IV. That the capital stock of
the proposed corporation shall be one

value of one hundred dollars each,
with the right, by a majority vote of
the capital stock, to increase such

any sum or sums not exceeding five
