Permanently Cures Sick and Nervous
Headaches That Make Life
Miserable.
Sick and nervous headacaes are
amongst the worst ills of life. The
man or woman who is subject to head
ache at irregular intervals, goes
through life bearing a load of mis
ery anu wretchedness tuat is terrible
to think of.
Headache, as a rule, results from a
disordered condition of the nervous
system. Mental excitement, loss of,
sleep, bodily fatigue, and disordered
,-gestion are exciting causes. When
the bra.a becomes tired and debilita
ted, the whole nervous system is
weakened, and headache result. If
t |le liver is sluggish,.the kidneys in
active, and digestion deranged, head
aches invariably follow. To cure and
prevent headache, the Tier\ous sys
tem must lie strengthened and vi.aiiz
ed. The most persistent eases of
headache, nervous teouieness, and
sleeplessness, are permanently cured
by Paine’s Celery Cofit pound; it is
the great reconstructaut of Die nerv
ous system. Mrs. Henry Westrick, St.
Clair, Mich., tells of aer release from
suffering as follows:
T have been troubled with dyspep
sia and sick headache for a number
of years. About every week i would
have a had spoil of sick headache, lull

: UNCLE SAM’S FREAK MONEY
Bill* 'Mint Are Twenty Dollars on
One Slle Kitd Ten on the Reverse.
Scattered throughout the country nro
a few pieces of paper money that are
known as “freak lulls” by the officials
of the treasury department. One of
them turned up in this city not long
I ago it had the imprint of a twenty
dollar note on one side and a ten on
the other. As the face showed the
twenty, that was its legal value.
The deputy assistant treasurer of
the United States, who is stationed in
the New York subtreiisury, was speak
ing of these freaks the other day and
said lie had only seen one of them in
his life, although he had heard of sev
eral. Very rarely they have slipped
through the bureau of engraving and
printing despite a careful scrutiny by
three or four sets of inspectors, in
most cases they have been national
banknotes, which, like regular treasury
.notes, are printed at the bureau in
Washington. The face value'always
is recognized when the frefiks-Conu: to
be cashed in at any branch of the
treasury, and the Imprint on the back
has no lawful status whatever.
“The notes arc printed in sheets at
the bureau,” said the official. “Usual
ly there will be one twenty and two
tens oil a sheet. They are prjnted one
side at a time, so it ean be seen that
the printer in turning over the sheet
might get it upside down and thus put
a toil dollar back on the twenty dollar
note, or Iwenly on the back of one of
the tens.”
In the bureau arc women who arc
supposed to examine all the bills Care
fully, but occasionally they neglect
lo look at both sides as serutlnizingly
ns they should, and so the money goes
out into ■•lrenlation. When errors are
discovered, the misprinted sheet is laid
aside .to be destroyed. It cannot lie
lorn iq) at once, for every sheet lias to
be accounted for. After n good deal
of red tape, it is ground up into pulp.
Most of the freak bills which have
been issued In the past have found
their way back to the treasury, there
to be destroyed. It Is thought that less
than a dozen are now scattered about,
most of them in the hands of curio
hinders. The official said that no ef
fort to collect them had been made by
the government and that the treasury
department did not consider the cireu-,
lation of the few notes a matter of
any consequence, inasmuch as there
was no doubt about (lie values as in
dicated on the face.—New York Times.

when I had suffered with
headache, backache and bear

thinking it would pass away
in time, but instead I found
that the pains increased and
were more frequent. I de

and in a short time was much
improved, it seemed to act like a charm.
I kept up the treatment and the result
was most satisfactory. Words fail to ex
press my gratitude for the suffering that
is now saved me. I am in fine health,
physically and mentally. I can only say
‘thank you', but there is much more in
my heart for you.”
EAItING-DOWN pains are the
worst that women know. If

were pulling down on the nerves of the
stomach are “bearing-down pains".

present but they are growing worse.
