The Hope Of It.
Way ain’t a-lookin’ the brightest—
Don’t see much light in the skies;
But goin’ along
We kin whistle a song,
An’ a feller kin hope till he dies.
Life ain’t a garden o’ roses;
Purty much mixed up with sights;
But whatever they give it,
We’ve still got to live it,
An’ a feller kin hope till he dies.

autumn will be scarlet and blue—th '
coronation colors. will be
shown in the cheviots] Plain blue

One- gown Is a blue cheviot, having
a bunch of red woven in i lye material
The straps are scarlet, the buttons
blue.
l’he next Is a plain blue etamine,
trimmed with embroidery. The note
of rod is furnished by Che buttons.
Cheviot is the basis of the third
gown, the color being bine. It is pro
fusely stitched" with red. Buttons and
ornaments of the same color complete
the trimming.
Very pretty is the blue gown atrip

check, having red trimming, and p
cheviot, elaborately stitched with red,
complete the sketches. *
