BE SURE AND VOTF.
Chairman McDonald Urges Democrats
to Do Their Duty.
The following is self-explanatory:
To the Voters of the Eleventh Con
gressional District:
I beg to direct your attention to the
congressional election to be held on
Tuesday, ttie 4th day of November,
next, ami to urge upon you the duty
and privilege of attending upon said
election and casting your votes for
Hon. \V. G. Brantley the democratic
nominee in our district.
While no open or avowed opposition
to 'him now exists, there is always
ihe possibility of opposition develop
ing, and it devolves upon us to take
no chances in such an important mat
ter. but to make his election sure, by
casting outvotes for him. It will re
quire hut little sacrifice upon the part
of each of us to spare the necessary
time to vote, and 1 appeal to all dem
ocrats to make this little sacrifice. By
so doing, wo will not only secure the
return to congress of our present rep
resntative, but we will, by our votes,
show our loyaltw to democratic prin
ciples and our repudiation of the
present republican administration and
its policies.
Respectfully,
.tohn c. McDonald,
Chairman Deni. Ex. Committee.

Field’s
Views on Ambition and Dys
pepsia.
“Dyspepsia,” wrote Eugene Field,
"often incapacitates a man for endeavor
and sometimes extinguishes the fire of
ambition." Though great despite his
complaint Field suffered from indiges
tion all hia life. A weak, tired stomach
can’t digest your food. It needs
rest. You can only rest it by the use
of a preparation like Kodol, which re
lieves it of work by digesting your food.
Rest soon restores it to its normal tone.
