Life Is What We Make of It.
Tell the children, day by day.
Theirs it is to shape the way.
That their eager feet sm.ll take.
Theirs to fasniori and to make
Future pathways, wood or had,
There to travel, glad or sad.
Tell the children that each deed
Of todoy will hear its seed
To bo harvested tomorrow —
Onrn< red in with joy or sorrow
Everywhere ttilu we may go
We shall reap the seed we sow.
A,l along tlie path of life
We shall gather love or strife.
Kindly aetions will return,
Sin and wrong tnoir wages earn.
Fain or peace, or sad regret—
Life it what we make of it.
