the friends and acquaintances of this

The dei orations were extremely

bower of ferns and palms, with a
background of white screens decorat
ed with trailing green vines.
At seven o'clock the bridal party en
tered the church and proceeded up the
aisle to the strains of the wedding
march from Lohengrin, played by
Miss Janie Symons.
The ushers, Messrs. F. K. Twitty
and George H. Smith, walked first,
followed by the attendants: Mr. U.
P. Coleman with Miss Gertrud" Allen,
Mr. E. .1. Allen with Miss Utnel Cun
oley, Miss Fannie Grant Nightengale
and Mr. Malcolm McCullough, Miss
Mamie Waff and Mr. Morton Maryc.
.Miss Mary McCullough, the maid oi

father, MV. John H. McCullough.
They were met ai the chancel gate
by tne groom and his best man, Mr.
Charles C. Fleming, and hero the
beautiful betrothal service was impres
sively performed by Rev. Rede. Tin
bride and groom then advanced to the
altar where the ceremony was con
cluded.
During the ceremonies. La t’aloma
was exquisitely rendered by Miss Sy
mons, and after the sacred words
were uttered pronouncing them man
and wife, the choir sang very weetly
“Oh. Lord Who at Cana's Wedding
Fqast.’’
Tiio bride, who is one of Bruns
wick’s loveliest daughters, was beau
tifully attired in white liberty sits,
over white taffeta and looked uer fair

large White .enrysanthemums.
The bride's maids were gowned in
white liberty silk with lace yokes and
each carried an armful of white chrys
anthemums.
An elegant reception followed at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McCul
lough, which was beautifully decorat
ed. and where a number of guests were
charmingly entertained. Numbers oi
oxtromeTy handsome presents were te
coived, evidence of the great popular
ity of these young people.
Mr. and Mrs. Waff left on the South
