The Standard Oil Company repre

as to the future rise or fall or any
thing concerning price can be had front
ihem. The rise in price of Illuminat
ing oil is attributed to the recent riso
in the crude oil market. Since the an
thracite coal strike and the conse

sprung Into prominence as a fuel in
factories, railroads and furnaces ot all
kinds as has the refined product in
home use In healers and cook stoves
these increased demands have•saused
the crude market to soar in the last
three weeks. Just how far it will go
no one knows, but the demand will in

less relief Is had for the coal situation
and no help is expected for that until
