LAST NIGHT. ,
The Atlantic Coast Cine excursion,
which reached the city shortly after
7 o'clock last night, was one of < the
largest run to the city this year, and
a close estimate of the crowd placed
it at 1,500. .
There wore fifteen coaches, filled to
their full capacity, while the platforms

The excursion came from Albany
mid intermediate points and will lie
in the city for three days.
While h large majority of the crowd
are colored people, a couple of hun
dred whites also came along, having
separate coaches.
The entire crowd is an unusually
orderly one and are having a good
time in the city.

vilion at St. Simon.
The 1 excursion tomorrow night
on tlhe steamer Hessle, promises to
be one of the most enjoy aide of the
season, and it is expected that an un
usually large crowd will go over.
Several hours will be eujoyably
spent in pleasant company on a bright
moonlight night, with refreshing
breeze and the melody of music to
add to the attractiveness of the oc
casion.
Good Attraction Booked.
Managers Fleming a Waff, of the
Grand, are still booking good attrac
tions! for the coming season and
among the latest is Walker Whiteside
in "Dora Thorne.” Mr. Whiteside
will be pleasantly remembered by
Brunswick theatre-goers and playing

Colored Teams Play Today.
The colored bull teams of Bruns
wick and Albany will cross bats at
the fair grounds this afternoon. A
game was to have been played yester
day afternoon, but was postponed ow
ing to the fact that the Albany team
did not arrive here in time. The two
teams are said to be good ones and
the game this afternoon Is expected
to bo interesting.
