time with Mrs I. N. Bishop. Mrs.
Baya spent, the summer in Toronto

The Aid society of the First Meth
odist church will give a fancy work
carnival beginning December 15. The
ladies are accumulating a quantity of
beautiful articles in the way of holiday
gilts and solicit the patronage of the
public generally.
The wedding of Miss Sarah Waldo
and Mr. Arthur McDermott Wilson oc
curred last evening in Atlanta. The
wedding was a brilliant affair and oc
curred at St. Mark’s church. Miss
Nancy Waldo, sister of the bride, wins
maid ol honor and there was seven
other bridesmaids and seven ushers.

A feature of the Riflemen's fair
will be the baby show which occurs
during Hie week. Every pretty baby
in Brunswick wiii bo entered in this
show and some handsome prizes will
lie given. All names should be tel
ephoned to Mrs. J. A. Montgomery,
manager of the fair.

tee of liie Riflemen's lair is called to

lethorpe. Everybody should patronize
this worth charity which will benefit
an institution that does incalculable
good in Cedartnwn and the adjacent
country. Many poor enildreii are giv
en free education in the Memorial
school which embraces an industrial
obiioution. Mrs. benedict has done
much good in this way and with
greater facilities could do much mere.
Everyone should buy a ticket and help
the good cause besides enjoying a
pleasant evening.

Chas. D. Hyde, for president anil

ors of the Brunswick and Birmuj."-
ham Railroad Company, is spending
a few days in the city. Mr. Hyde
is traveling in the handsome private
car, “Brunswick.” He will probably
leave today for an inspection tour over
the road.
