BRUNSWICK STORES IN
CHRISTMAS ATTIRE
ALL FILLED WITH
PRETTY PRESENTS
News Man Takes a Look
at the Different
Stores,
Brunswick Christmas present givers
will have but little trouble in select
ing an appropriate gift this season for
the fact that our merchants have all
purchased an unusually large and
handsome line of goods, the only Iron
hie being that there are so many
pretty article one harl.v knows what
to select for Ills friends or relative.
Yesterday a News reporter visited a
number of stores not to purchase a
present, as this is almost impossible
with a newspaper man, but to merely
take a look at the many beautiful ar
tides which the others can afford t >
buy. Brunswick's stores probably
have never before made such a beau
tiful display of Christmas goods, and
every merchant has put in a well se
lected an unusually large stock of
holiday goods.
Had the reporter been in search of
presents, lie could have bought a sui
table one for every man, woman and
child in Brunswick—that is if some
kind friend would have footed the bill
In our stores there is everything that
one wsheß to see, from the smallest
of toys for the little one to the hand
somest of presents for the sweetheart,
wife or mother. Indeed, for a city
Its size, Brunswick can probably boast
of having the most enterprising mcr,
chants to he found anywhere.
While the Christmas trade Is now
merely beginning, most of the mer
chants report a good advance bus!
ness, and ull of them are anticipating
an unprecedented holiday business.
Yesterday showed the first signs of
the holhlav season; the shoppers were
out probably for the first time to se
lect presents, and many of them al
ready have articles reserved lor some
friend or relative.
It would probably take several col
umns of space tot fully and propery
descrlbo the different stores In Bruns
wick, and It will not be attempted at
this time, but in justice to many of
the merchants, the reporter thinks that
the following should have special men
