THEATRICAL NOTES
Finnigan's Ball.
“If Casey had danced and Finnigan
Had blown out the light” immediately
after the rise of the curtain on the
first act last night, “Finnigan's Ball,
the attraction at the Grand, might
have been enjoyed more by the small
audience ■which was present at the
beginning of the farce comedy.
evidently the people knew what
was coming, for they were conspicu
ous tor their absence, but -many
thought they would see a few pretty
chorus girls, etc., but they were sadly
disappointed, and if there was a sin
gle redeeming feature to the play,
tiie company failed to put it on ne
loro the end of tne first act. when a
majority of the audience feft. The
next time “Finnigan’s Bull” comes
along casey will please blow out the
light before the beginning From the
general appearance of tne company,
trie entire east was secured along the
Bowery in New' York. They should
go back there at once.
"Her Own Way.”
The main story of “Her Own Way,'
Clyde Fitch’s play, to be seen here
next week, under the management of
lines Murry, is that of a New York
heiress who is loved by two men,
nain Coast, a millionaire Westerner,
and a lieutenant In the United States
army, Dick Coleman. How Georglana
carries her point and baffles her dear
est enemies Is one of the cleverest
tales told In modern playwriting. Miss
Syivla Lynden plays the part of Geo--
gmna this season.

WHAT THE KIDNFYS DO.
Their Unceasing Work Keeps Us
Strong and Healthy.
All the blood in the body passes
throng! the kidneys once every three
minutes. The kidneys filler the blood.
They work night and day. When
healthv they remifve about 500 grains
of impure matter dally, when un
healtny some part of this impure mat
ter is loft, in the blood. This brings
on many diseases and symptoms—
pain in the back, headache, nervous
mas, hot, dry skin, rheumatism,
gout, gravel, disorders of the eye
sight and hearing, dizziness, dropsy,
deposit', in the urine, etc. But .1
you keep the filters right you wit*
have no trouble with your Iddneys.
.1. C. Humphrey, dealer in stoves
and ranges, 352 Jefferson street. Sa
vanna n. Ga., writes: 'l write you to
state that Doan’s Kidney f ills did me
so much good that 1 feel it my duty
to tell about it. 1 could scarcely at
tend to my work so bad was my con
dition 1 was run down, weak ana
nervous and had more annoying
symptoms of kidney trouble than i
can mention. Before I began using
Doans Kidney Pills, my weight was
about 155 pounds. Now it is 100
pounds I have taken but two boxes
and am now on the third. I had tried
specialists, and I thought almost!
everything recommended for kidney
trouble but notning did me any goou
until I got Doan s Kidney Pills. They
seemed to build up my whole system
and I felt better than in years.”
