Go=Ge'tter” Well Received
The Paramount-Cosmopolitan pro¬
duction, "The Go-Getter” was well
received at its premier at the Bijou
Theatre last evening. The story is a
choice comedy-drama splendidly pro
: duced, with T. Roy Barnes, Seena
Owen, William. Norris, Tom Lewis
and Louis Wolheim as the featured
players.
Bill Peck (T. Roy Barnes), a World
War veteran, belong to that class
of young Americans known as go
getters. He is a lumber salesman
with the Ricks lumber concern. Bill
is greatly attracted to Mary Skinner,
daughter of one of his employers and,
being a go-getter, inside of four
hours lias placed an engagement ring
on her finger. In Pill’s effort to make
good with Mary’s father lie is forced
to do all sorts of seemingly impossi¬
ble feats, even to flagging a train
with an oil saturated coat after giv¬
ing chase by airplane.
This is by far tlie peppiest and most
interesting production seen here in
many a day. It keeps you on the edge
of your seat from start to finish
with its many thrills. First honors
go to Mr. Barnes, with Miss Owens,
in the leading feminine role, a close
second and the others not far behind.
“Tile Go-Getter” was directed by E.
H. Griffith and adapted by John Lynch
from the story by Peter B. Kyne.

1 he function of the kidneys is to filter
the blood. In 24 hours they strain from

Drink lots of good water—you can’t
drink too much; also get from any phar¬

take a tablespoonful in a glass of water
