Concerning Sellers’ Vermifuge A single vial producing

field. Unslor of the Liberty street Methodist Episcopal
church :
Pittsburgh, March 8,1847.
Mr. It. E. Sellers, —It is from a sense of duty, as well
as with great pleasure, that 1 bear testimony to the vir
tue of your justly celebrated Vermifuge. 1 procured a
single bottle and gave it to three of my children, who
liau been ill for several weeks. The oldest was seven
years old, the next four, and the youngest eighteen
months. The first passed fifty-six worms, the second
forty-seven, and the third a considerable number nos
distinctly recollected. Since then they have been do
ing well, and are now in good health.
Yours, respectfully, S WAKEFIELD.

Mr. R. E. Sellers, —Your Vermifuge gives universal

Sellers’ Vermifuge—it xrorks wonders
every where.
Rig Sani>y, hy. Mav 12,1818.
Mr R F. Sellers—Dear sir: Your Vermifuge produces
■licit wonderful results, that / think it worth while to
si ve you a few fact* about it. A neighbor, Dr Gray,
bought from me one vial of it, and gave the contents to
three of his children; the first passed 180, the second
153, and the third 70, making 403 discharged
by using one vwl. Mr Gray immediately lioiight four
\ials more. Mr. J M'Shuriey also gave tit* contents
of one vial to three of his children, which brought
from’the first 73, front the second 54, and from the third
30, making 156 worms bv the use of one vial. I gave
my own child, aged one year, two teaspoon fills, which
expelled 14. one of which was at least one foot long.—
Your Vermifuge in considered the best that has evei
leen brought to our section of country, and so far as I
know, lias never failed.
Yours,respectfully, J L TUI MAN.
Let Physicians Speak.
Sellers’ Vermifuge is the best in use. —
Here is proof.
Licking Station. Ky, Dec. 17, 1815.
Mr Jl E Sellers,—\ have the pleasure to inform you
that 1 have used in my practice your celebrated Vermi
fuge with the most happy results. 1 have formerly used
Fahnestocks, but being Persuaded to try yours, 1 have
found it far supperiorin every respect, and can say w ith j
out the fear of contradiction % that your Vermifuge pos
sesses more virtue than any 1 ever used, and most cor
dially recommend it 4o the attention of the public,
will state acase where I gave one vial of your Vermi
fuge. My brother’s child was pining and wasting to
mere skeleton. In 36 hours after 1 gave the Vermifuge
the enormous quantity of upwards of six hundred worm
wore passed. The child that was given up for lost, is
now as well as any in the neighborhood.

Sellers’ Vermifuge the Rest in the World
Gallipoi is.O, April 1,1851,
This certifies that I have kept on hand and used in
my practice. It K Sellers’ Vermifuge, for the two past
years, lam confident in saying it has not fuiled, in a
single instance, to relieve children and adults troubled
with worms; in many instances it him brought away
large quantities. lam confident it is the best worm me
dicine in use. All that is required to give it reputation
in any family, is togive it a fair trial.
R Jl WILSON, M. D.
- Point Pleansant. Va, Oct. 4,1847.
Mr. R E Sellers, —Os vour Vermifuge, 1 can say
without hesitation that having used it extensively in my
practice for the last four or five yeftrs, I think ildecided
ly the best, preparation of the kind of which 1 have any
knowledge, although I have heretofore used the pre.pa
ration of several other manufacture) s.

Sellers’ Family Medicine.
Graham Station. Ohio, May 25, IS 19.
Mr. R E Sellers,—=l think it right, for the benefit of
others, to state some facta in relation to your excellent
Faintly Medicines.
1 have used your Vermifuge largely in my own family,
one vial frequently answering for expelling large quan
tities (say 100 to 200) of worms from two children. 1
have also used your Liver Pills and Cough Syrup in ray
family, and tuey have, in every instance, produced the
eflbrt desired.
As 1 ainengaged in mercliandbung. lain able testate
that I have vet to hear of the firvt failure where your
medicines have been used in my section of the country.
In conclusion, 1 nuty state that they are the medicines of
the day, and are destined lo have a very extensive pop
ularity.
Yours, respectfully, W II PINNEL.

ANOTHER SCIENTIFIC WONDER!
Great cute for
Hy spep sia!
Dr. J. Houghton's PEPSIN, the true
Digestive Fluid, or Gastric Juice,
prepared from RENNET, or
the fourth Stomach of the
Ox, after directions
oj Baron Liebig,
the great
Physiological C hebiist
by J. S. Houghton, M. D. Philadelphia.
This is truly a wondrful remedy for Indigestion, dys
pepsia , jaundice, liver complaint, constipation, and de
bility, curing after nature’s own method, by natures own
agent, the Gastric Juice. DCT Half a teaspoonful of
Pepsin, infused in water, will digester dissolve five pouds
of roast beef in about two hours, out of the stomach.
is the chief element or great digestive princi
ple of the Gaotric juice—the solvent ol the food, the
purifying, preserving, and stimulating agent of the stom
ach and intestines. It is extra* ted from the digestive*
stomach oft! ‘ Ox, thus forming an artificial digestive
fluid, precisely like the natural ga?tic juice in its chemi
cal powers, and furnishing acoipplete and perfect substi
tute for it. By the aid of this preparation the pains and
evils of indigestion and dyspepsia arc removed, just as
they would be by a healthy stomach. It is doing wonders
for dyspeptics, curing cases of debility, emaciation, ner
vous decline aifd dyspeptic consumption, supposed to be
on the verge ofthe grave. Tlid scientific upon which it is
based, is in the highest degree curious and remarkable.
SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE,
Baron Liebig, in his celebrated work on ammal Chem
istry, say*: ‘An artificial digestive fluid analogous to the
gastic juice, may be readily prepared from the mucous
membrane ofthe stomach ofthe calf in which various ar
ticles of food, as meat and eggs will be softened, changed
and digested, just in the some manner as they would he
in the human stomach.’
Call on the agent, and get a descriptive circular,
gratis, giving a large amount of scientific evidence, sim
ilar to the above, together with rejKjrts of remarkably
cures, from all part* of the United States.
AS A DYSPESPIA CURER
Dr. Hugh tun's Pepsin has produced the most marvellous
effects, in curufl cases of debility, emaciation, nervous
decline, and dyspeptic consumption. It is impossible to
give the details of cases in the limits of this advertise
ment; but authenticated circumstances have be<m given
of more than two hundred remarkable cures, in Philadel
phia, Mew York and Boston alone. These were near
ly all desperate cases, and the cures were notonly rapid
and wonderful, but }>ernianent.
It is a great nervous antidote, and particularly useful
for tendency to Billious disorder, liver complaint, lever
ami ague or badly treated fever aud ague, and the evil
effects of quinine, men ury and other drugs upon the di
gestive organs, altera long sickness. Also, forexcess in
•eating, and the too free use of ardent spirits. It alnios
reconciles health with intemperance.
Dr. Houghton’s Pepsin is prepared in pow der and in fluid
rom—-and in perscriplion vials for the use. of Physicians.
Private circulars;lor the use of Physicians, may be
obtained of Dr. Houghton or his Agents, describing
the whole process of preparation, and giving the authori
ties upon which the claiuies of this new remedy are bas
ed. As it is not a secret remedy, no objection can be
raised against its use-by Physicians in respectable stand
ing and regular practice. Price, One Dollar per bottle

A remarkable case of Rheumatism and
Fits cured in 3 weeks;
Ball Hill Muscogee Cos. Jan 25, tBSZ
Mr; Editors Sir permit me to comrou*
nicate to the Afflicted through the ‘columns
of your valuable paper the following facts
About three months ago my Son Shepherd!
aged 22 years was attacked with acute
Rheumatism in both of his knee? Whfth’ Watt
so severe that it soon effected his wlwlfe sVs--
tem, and seemed to locate principally, ort hi**
Brain Lungs and heart. The 4th day tffrtJr
lie was attacked he commenced having hard
Fits. T immediately called in an eminent
Physician, who treated his case three weeks
But without benefit, I then called in two
more Physicians of the same order (Old
School) one of whom treated his case two
weeks, still he grew wotse, and had from
two to three fils nearly every night. The
Doctors said that his condition was strange
and cutical, and they seemed to be at a loss
to know what to do for him, as the remedies
they prescribed, had no effect towards icliev,
ittg him. And all who saw my Son thought
that he would be certain lo die. But tusl
as I was about to relax all efforts of having
anything more done for him, some person
sent me one of Dr. Rowland’s Circulars, I
examined it and saw that the certificates
were front reliable, sources and 1 resolved
to haul Shepherd to Dr. R. When we ar
rived at the Doctor’s lie was just alive and
it was all that could be said, for he was re
duced so much thin lie could be compared to
nothing hut a living skeleton to use the
phrase, and at all times he snfiered with the
most violent excruciating pains, his mind was
very much effected also. The second day
alter Dr. R. Commenced treating his case,
lie sloped having fils, and the fifth day his
pains subsided in a great degree,’ | then
left him under cate ol Dr, R, and returned
home, related to my neighbors the exlraoi
dinary relief mv Son experienced in so short
a time, many seemed to doubt, and all were
perfectly astonished. lie remained at the
Doctors 3 weeks, and it afioids me pleasure
to say that I believe lie lias eflecled a perma
nent euro, as Shepherd has had no Symptoms
of a relapse in any way for several weeks*
It is my wish that the above statement he
published so that others laboring under such
and sinuliar diseases may be hem filed also
Yours &c. Elijah Padgett.
YVe the undersigned neighboisto Elijah
Padgett certify that his statements relative
to the miraculous cure effected on his Son
Shepherd are correct.

Dr. Rowland, Sir: I present you the
following ceitificate which I hope you will
have published, so that others laboring uu..
der such diseases may be benefitted also.
About two years ago, one of my servants
(Henry), was severely attacked with spit
ting and vomiting of blood, attended with
h.aid fils which lie had paroxysms of weekly.
I immediately placed him under the treat
ment of the most eminent Physicians ot the
old school in this section and after treating
I'is case a long time, they said he could not
be cured, and was beyond the reach of med
icine. Henry grew worse and had from one
to two hard fits a week. B’pii and vomited
up large quantities ol blood. As I consider
ed his case perfectly hopeless for a time, 1
bad nothing done for him. Hearing that
you would take patients afflicted with chronic
diseases on conditions, 1 resolved to give
you a trial, and to the astonishment of my
self and many others, in three weeks after
i placed Henry under your treatment, he re
turned home entirely cured of his distiessing
diseases ; he lias been well 3 months and
can do as mncli hard laborious- work as lie
ever could. When I sent Henry to you, I
would have taken a mere trifle lor him, now
1 consider that he is worth S9OO. Persous
afflicted with such or similar diseases, would
do well togive voua trial.
Yours &c., WM. FAULK.
