Pepsin, infused in water, will digest or dissolve five pouds

Pepsin is ihe chief element or great digestive princi

AS A DYSRESPIA CURER
Dr. li lightun'.s Pepsin has produced the most marvellous
edicts, in curing eaVes of debility, emaciation, nervous
decline, and chspeptie consumption. It is impossible td
give, the details of caseswt the limits of this advi rtise- ”

if mote than two liundreuremarkable cures, in Philadel-
I hia. New York and Boston hloile. These were- m ar
ly a i desperate (arcs, and the eures were notonly rapid
and wonderful, but j (bmaneiit.
It is a great nervous’ antidote, and particularly useful
for tendency to rlillious disorder, liver complaint, tewr
{ and ague or badly treated fever aad ague, and the evil
effects of quiuiiie, mer ury and other drugs upon the di
gestive organs, after a long sickness. Also, for excess in
eating, uoti the tbo free use of ardent spirits. It almos
. r.'conciies health with intemperance.
Dr. Houghton's Pepsin is prepared in povVder and in fluid

About three months ago my <n liepherd

Rheumatism in both of his knees which was
so severe that it soon effected his whole sys

Brain Lungs and heart. The 4th day after

Fits. 1 immediately called in an eminent
Physician, who treated his case three weeks.
But without benefit, I then called in two
more Physicians of the same order (Old
chool) one of whom treated his case two
weeks, still he grew wotse, and had from
two to three fits nearly every night. The
Doctors said that his condition was strange
and culical, and they seemed to be at a loss
-to knbw what to do for him, ns the remedies
they pi escribed, lut'd no effect towards leliev.,

that he would be certain to die. But just
as 1 was about lo relax all efforts of having
