of firearms. Schwartz worked on his
crude weapons between 1320 and
1354.
The system of body measurements
by which criminals are identified has
been in use in Paris since 1880. The
system was zierfected by M. Alphonse
Bertillon.
New York city's first city hall was
located ih a building originally erect
ed for use as a tavern. The stone
structure was built in 1642 and con
verted in 1653 into a municipal build
ing.
