Special attention is called to the |
card of Dr. T. P. Reville in this issue. 1
Ho has recently purchased the stock i
of drugs owned by Dr. D. L. Peeples, '
and has also added a fresh stock of
pure drugs and other goods usually 1
kept in a first-class drug store, which '
he proposes to sell at prices to suit
the times. When you visit Harlem give 1
him a call at Dr. Peoples’ old stand. ’

It is for a friend suffering from con- t

know from experience to be good.” (

Mrs S. T. Florence, of Grovetown,

, the neighborhood of Harlem this
I week.
I Mr. E. W. Jones, one of the Senti-

DR. D. L. lEEPI.ES WILD BID ADIEU TO THE
SYLVAN CITY.
We have for several issues refrain
ed from mentioning the fact that Dr.
D. L. Peeples intended leaving Har
lem, in tho hope that some induce
ment might bo lu-ougbt out which
would cause him to remain here, but
not so, the latter part of next week lie
expects to leave lor Hickory, N. C, to
embark in business. During his stay
of over two years in our community
ho has endeared himself to the peo
ple and built, up a practice with but
few if any parallels i . so short a time.
He leaves a largo and increasing
practice here to seek his fortune in
the, Old North State. He is one of
the most successful young physicians
i in our knowledge and is destined to
stand in tho front rank of his profes
sion.
