newspaper law says if any person
orders his paper discontinued, he
must pay all arreages, or the pub¬
lisher may cont inue to send it until
payment is made, and collect the
whole amount. Also an action for
fraud can be instituted against any
person, whether he is responsible in
a financial view or not, who refuses
to pay for his subscription.

correctly kept, except 11. D. Miller,
J. P., has not signed his name to
some of hi» judgments.
We have examined the road com¬
missioner’s doeket and find it neatly
and cori'eCtlv kept.
Wc have examined the public
buildings and find the jail in a saf<
and comfortable condition, the court
house also in a good condition, with
the exception of a few panes broken
out of one of the windows.

dollars a mouth from this date until
the January adjourned term of the
court.
Wc direct that Rebecca Harrell
be placed on the pauper list and re¬
ceive four dollars a mouth. Wc al¬
so direct that Elizabeth Connor be
placed oti the pauper list and re¬
ceive four, dollars a month.
