Rain ! rain 1 our 1 little town is somewhat muddy these days,, the sunshine about now would sure be appreciated, very little has beon done so far towards farming. A very sad death was that of little Florine Crawford, she was taken wifh a very severe attack of croup which developed into asth ma. McDonald, of Grove- town, was a guest of her daughter, Mrs. Homer Johnson, several days recently. Miss Bessie McCarty of Camak was the guest of Mrs. W. M. Whitaker during last week. Mrs. R. Paul and her son Mas ter Preston were guests of Mrs. (N. J. Fullbright Sunday. 1 Mr. Colley Kink, of Grovotown, , was the guest of Mr. C. E. Lokey Sunday. Mr. Jeff Rogers of Dearing, was the guest of Miss Annie Simons Sunday last. Mrs. W. M. Whitaker and her daughter visited relatives in Camak Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John Bradshaw were guests ©f Mrs Myrtle Culpep per several days recently. Mr. Jokn Coxville, of Augusta, was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wellmnker, Tuesday of this week. Mr. (Sharles Martin, recently of Atlanta, but now of Grovetown, was the guest of Mr. Homar Johnson Tuesday. Let us strive to be just, mod erate aud wise in all of our views and conduct.
