Mr. J. F. Simons and Mrs. 0. C. Ansley made u business trip to Thomson Monday. Messrs. B. L. and R. M. Wall, of Augusta, and Mr, J. C. Wall, of Thomson, visited their father, Mr. J. W. Wall, who is very sick in this pluce, recently. and iriwiid* to have a social chat to break the monotony of farm life. The next progressive step to build up the country is an elec tric lino running through, where lovoly houses will soon dot the way and bo filled with prosperous white people. Mrs. Savannah Morgan who lias | been so seriously ill is slowly im proving to the gratification of many friends. Mrs. B. W. Crawford died on tho 27th lust, and was buried on the 28th, Bro Seaborn officiating at the burial services. She leaves a daught er and a wide circle of relat.iAes and friend* to mourn her loss.
