Mr. Claude McDonald was the
spend-the-night guest of his brother,
Mr. O. L. McDonald, Saturday night.
Mr. J. F. Easier and family attend
ed the tent meeting in Thomson Sun
day night.
There was a League social given
at the home of Miss Eunice Dent
Saturday night. It was greatly en
joyed by all those present.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Stockwell
were visitors of Mrs. Wilton Geter
S.’H.ay last.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hatcher vis
ited Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Newsome
last Thursday.
Mr. G. T. McDonald spent a short
while with Mr. 0. L. McDonald Sun
day.
Mr. Addie Adams and family were
visiting Mr. Jim Farr Sunday after
noon.

Mrs. Bessie Smith visited Mrs.
Charles McDonald Sunday afternoon.
We are glad to see Smiles and
Curies come so often. Now we won
der what is the matter with Sunny-
side, she has quit writing.
We know some one around here is

Central school opened Monday
morning with 18 on roll to begin with
and there will be more to come in
every week. It is impossible for
some of the children to begin now n3
there is so much cutton to be picked.
Wake up Marshall, East Thomson
and Boneville, must have gone to
sleep last week.
I think everybody around here are
enjoying the tent meeting in Thom
son.
Miss Katie Lou Jones is spending
the week in Thomson.
Mr. Carl Mathews called on Miss
Katrina Waller Sunday afternoon.
There was a certain little boy got
awfully disappointed Sunday on ac
count of the death of a cow. What
about it blue eyes?
We are sorry to report that Mrs.
Nannie Hardaway is on the sick list
but wish for her a speedy recovery.
Mr. Seab Jones spent Tuesday in
Thomson.
Mr. and Mrs. Phocian Johnson and
children were the guests of Mrs.
Nannie Harville Sunday.
I guess some little girl was all
smiles Sunday as the navy boy came
home.
There will be a singing at Salem
Sunday afternoon. Mr. George Wil
son will have charge. Everybody in
vited to come.
