Undue Scrupulousness.
Tenderness of conscience Is always
to be distinguished from scrupulous
ness. The conscience cannot be kept
too sensitive and tender; but scrupu

Infirmity, and discovers Itself In a mul
titude of ridiculous, superstitions, and
painful feelings.—Cecil.
