We are so glad that Gladys, the lovely daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Mayes, is getting along fine after she underwent an operaton. Hope she will soon be back home. Mr. Charlie Jones, Miss Bessie Kate Hamilton and Mr. Clifford Jones, Miss Mollie Jones and Miss Willie Mae Brooks were out riding Sunday afternoon. We wonder which one claimed to go with B. K. Mr. Roy Jones called on Miss Am- mie Lou Montgomery Sunday after noon. Misses Nellie and Rosa Barksdale, of Bastonville, made a visit to Miss Willie Mae Brooks Sunday afternoon. Mr, and Mrs. O. D.
