Death of Infant.
Mrs. S. T. Carter who was visi¬
ting her mother, Mrs. Jordan, at
Hartsfield lost her seven weeks
old baby Monday. The child was
seriously sick only a day or two.
The remains of the little one were
brought to Pelham and laid to
rest in the city cemetery. Mrs.
Carter is a resident of Augusta
and her husband who was in that
city at the time lie received the
telegram telling of the death of
his child come immediately on,
arriving here Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Carter is a sister of Mrs. W.
G. Abridge.
