The Liverpool & London &
Globa Insurance Co. made settle¬
ment last week with Mr. J. M.
Watts for the insurance on his
house which was recently burned
in Pelham.
It was a liberal settlement and
shows the liberal nature of the
company inasmuch as the house
had been vacant more than the al¬
lowed limit of thirty days. There
was no disposition to take advan¬
tage of this clause in the policy,
however, and when they were sat¬
isfied as to the loss a settlement
was promptly made.
