Rural Letter Carriers
Meet.
The convention of the Georgia
Association of Rural Letter Car¬
riers to be held in Albany, Ga.,
July 8 and 4, will be one of state
. wide interest and the most im¬
portant ever held by the conven¬
tion. Much business of impor¬
tance will be transacted at the
convention. The fact that the
Georgia association stands first
among state organizations in the
United States, having more mem¬
bers in proportion to the number
of carriers than any other state,
Indiana, Ohio and Illinois follow¬
ing Georgia in this respect, and
that the national president, Hon.
Paul L. Lindsey, of Tucker, Ga.,
adds interest to the convention.
There will be present at the
convention representatives of the
postoffiee department atrwashing
n, Mr. F. B. Heidel, of the bu¬
reau of public roads, Congress¬
man James M. Griggs, of the
Second, and Charles G. Edwards,
of the First congressional dis¬
trict,who will deliver addresses,
the national and state presipeuts,
Postmaster H. M. Brimberry, of
Albany, and others to be selected
later.
A large delegation of carriers
selected by counties and districts
has been elected to attend the
convention and it is.expected that
every carrier in South Georgia
and many in Middle and North
Georgia will attent the conven¬
tion. As all carriers can take a
vacation with pay any time after
July 1st, makes it possible for
all carriers to attend the state
convention without loss of time.
The national association of ru¬
ral letter carriers was organized
at Chicago in 1908.
The growth of the Georgia as¬
sociation has been nothing short
of phenomical. In 1905 there
was a membership of only 55; in
1906, 20 (i, and at the state con¬
vention in 1907 a membership of
492. There is now a membership
of more than 800. This increase
in membership is due very largely
to the untiring efforts of State
President George DeBrose.

Irregularity is bad in every department of life, in meals, in sleeping hours,
but especially when it is a question of womanly habit. Not only is it a sign of
female disease, but, unless cured, it will cause dangerous troubles, because of
the poisons thus allowed to remain in the system.
If you suffer in this way, get a bottle of
Wine of Cardui
