In Memoriam.
To the Worshipful Masters,
Wardens and Brethren of Harts¬
field Lodge No. 400 F. & A. M.,
Hart8field, Ga.
We, your committee appointed
to draft resolutions on the death
of our brother, C. R. Akridge,
beg to submit the following:
Inasmuch as it has pleased the
Great Architect of the Universe
to remove from among us our
dearly beloved brother, who after
fifty days of illness succumbed to
that malady Typhoid fever we
bow to His will.
Brother Akridge was born and
reared in east Mitchell. He was
twenty six years old, and was
initiated in our Lodge January
14th 1905, and raised to the sub¬
lime degree of Master Mason,
March 8th 1905, subsequently he
moved to Pelham, and here we
wish to say that Hartsfield Lodge
feels under many obligations to
Pelham Lodge for the aid and tlie
co«rtesies shown to our brother.
There was a larger masouic at
tendence at the burial than we
had ever before seen.
The deceased is survived by a
wife, father, mother, one sister,
two brothers, and these are join¬
ed by a host of friends who
mourn his untimely death.
He possessed a genial disposi¬
tion, a kind and loving heart,
and was true to his friends in
weal and woe. May God grant
his soul that sweet rest which
life’s tasks give him to enjoy
here, as all of God’s children
have sweet and blessed assurance
that when life’s work is ended and
our days work is done we will
hear that grand plaudit, Wei:
done thou good and faithful
servant, enter ye at my right
hand, where the wicked cease
their trouble and the weary are
at rest.
We recommend that the Lodge
wear the usual badge of mourn¬
ing, that a blank page in our
minute book be left to his memo¬
ry, and that a copy of these reso¬
lutions be sent to Mrs Akridge.
T. J. Lawhorn,
J. M. Walters,
J. L. Hartsfield.
It Very is serious Serious
a very matter to ask
for one medicine and have the
wrong one given you. For this
reason we urge you in buying
to be careful to get the genuine—
BUck-drmighT Liver Medicine
The reputation of this old, relia¬
ble medicine, for constipation, in¬
digestion and liver trouble, is firm¬
ly established. It does not imitate
other medicines. It is better than
others, or It would not be the fa¬
vorite liver powder, with a larger
sale than all others combined.
