The natural productions of the country
abundantly, such as Cassada, Plan
tains, Oranges. &c., &c. Rice, which is
the principal breadstuff of the country, is
very good, add ihe’natives raise all the col
onists use.
As to the clltnate,* it is not so hot by far

makes it quite pleasant, as we always have

from Havana that a Spaniard who had
murdered several persons, was executed by
the garote on the morning of the 21st inst.
He tore the shrood off of him between the
prison on Rcaffold, and when he had ascen

Emperor Napoleon to Constantinople, and
the Crimea has been indefinitely stisperided,

in the statement, it seems entitled to credit.
