MR. BROWN, MiSS LEDFORD
Ledford, Brown to marry June 28
Ricky and Connie Ledford and
Cary and Lorraine Lancaster, all
of Talmo, announce the engage
ment and forthcoming marriage
of their daughter, Kimberly Diane
Ledford, to William Jacob Brown,
son of William H. Brown Jr. and
Angela Brown.
The bride-elect is the grand
daughter of Andrew and Wilma
Ledford, Talmo, and the late Toy
and Alice Broome, Gainesville.
Miss Leford is a 2008 graduate
of Gainesville State College with
an associate’s degree in middle
grades education. She will attend
Brenau Women’s College in the
fall and is employed by Legacy
Academy.
The future groom is the grandson
of the late William H. Brown and
Helen A. Brown, Doraville, and
the late Clifton and Elise McClure,
Maysville. Mr, Brown is a 2004
graduate of Banks County High
School and is employed by DS
Waters of America.
The wedding is scheduled for 2
p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008, at
Talmo Baptist Church, Talmo.

Green, irvin to wed June 21
Brenda Durham, Commerce,
announces the engagement and
forthcoming marriage of her daugh
ter, Misty Ann Green, to Nicholas
Lee Irvin, son of Daniel and Carol
Irvin, Homer.
The bride-elect is the granddaugh
ter of Louise Reece, Pickens, S.C.,
and Mr. and Mrs. David McClure,
Commerce.
She is a 2003 graduate of Banks
County High School and a 2007
graduate of North Georgia College
and State University with a B.S.
degree in art marketing. Miss Green
is employed with Community Bank
Shares, Cornelia.
The future groom is the grandson
of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Patterson,
Homer, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Irvin, Baldwin.
He is a 2001 graduate of Banks
County High School and a 2005
graduate of Emanuel College with
an associate’s degree in business
administration. Mr. Irvin is employed
with Tractor Supply Company,
Commerce.
The wedding is planned for June
21, 2008. Invitations have been sent.

their daughter, Ashley Danielle Nix,
Statham, to Terry Wayne Samples,
Statham, son of Wayne and Sheila
Samples, Statham.
The bride-elect is the granddaugh
ter of Virginia Nix and the late
Ronnie Nix and is step-granddaugh
ter of Sara Lynn Phillips, all of
Jefferson.
Miss Nix is a 2005 graduate of
Jefferson High School and a 2007
graduate of Lanier Technical College
as a registered medical assistant. She
is employed at Family Physicians,
P.A., Winder, as a registered medical
assistant.
The future groom is the grandson
of Samuel Crumley, Nicholson, and
Karen Darnell-Kines, Commerce,
and Don and Betty Samples,
Maysville.
Mr. Samples is a 2003 graduate
of Jackson County Comprehensive
High School and works for Kratos
Defense and Security Solutions,
Marietta.
The wedding is planned for 11:30
a.m. June 28, 2008, at 287 Park
Drive, Jefferson.
All family and friends are invited
