Denmark, Purcell marry May 31
Brittany Lynn Denmark and Alexander Johnson Purcell
were united in marriage May 31, 2008, at New Salem United
Methodist Church, Commerce, with the Rev. Clyde Corbin
II officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jefferson Lee Denmark and
Carol Thompson Denmark and the groom is the son of Kim
McCoy Orr and Alan Purcell.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Emily Dun
can was the maid of honor, and Amanda Davis, Alicia Allen
and Megan Porter were bridal attendants.
Kaci Denmark was the flower girl.
Zach Purcell was the best man, and Eli Purcell, Bill Krause,
Coe Allen and Rich Allen were the groomi’s attendants.
Joshua Denmark, Adam Parker and Justin Willis were ush
ers.
Aretha Hill was pianist.

The bride-elect is the
Mrs. Tommie Irvin, Baldwin,
and the late Mr. and Mrs.
Cecil Allen. She is a 1999
graduate of Banks County
High School and a 2005
graduate of Georgia South
ern University. Miss Irvin is
employed with Community
Bankshares, Cornelia.
The future groom is the
grandson of the late Estella
Mrs. James D. Wofford. He
is a 1992 graduate of Com
merce High School. Mr.
Wofford is employed with
Jackson Electric Member
ship Corporation, Jefferson.
The wedding is planned
for 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept.
6 at the Community House,
Cornelia. All family and
friends are invited to attend.

of a daughter, Laith Elizabeth
Stockton, on Aug. 8, 2008, at
Habersham County Medical
Center.
She weighed 7 pounds, 9
ounces, and was 19.3 inches
long.
She joins a brother, Ethan
Stockton, 4, and a sister, Kate-
lyn Stockton, 2. The grandpar
ents are Sarah Walters, Homer;
Manuel Moore, Toccoa; and
Judy Segrest, Commerce.
