allowing an unlicensed person
to drive and obstruction of a
law enforcement officer.
•Aldredo Guerra Estrada,
Lula teens charged in
burglaries,
Investigators from the Hall
County Sheriff’s Office have
arrested two adults and three
juveniles in connection with
a string of burglaries, enter
ing automobiles and graffiti
in downtown Lula.
Chad Hoffman, 17,
Gainesville, was charged
with multiple counts of bur
glary, entering an automobile
and criminal trespass.
Casey Nix, 18, Lula, was
charged in connection with
the burglary at New Image
Hair Salon and the entering
an auto at Lanier Auto’s.
Also arrested in connection
with the crimes were two
male juveniles, age 14 and
16, and a 16 year old female.
Between Thursday, August
28, and Saturday, August 30,
the group alledgedly broke
into the following locations:
Lula Masonic Lodge, New
Image Hair Salon, Steph & Co
Hair Salon, Lula Assembly of
Praise, a private residence on
Cobb Street.
They also allegedly broke
into the Lula Pharmacy in
vandalism

Also in August, they alleg
edly broke into a vehicle
at Lanier Auto’s on Athens
Street and another vehicle on
Main Street.
The group is also charged
with spaypainting graf
fiti on property at Lula
Elementary School, Davidson
Restorations and a private
residence on Main Street.
Investigators recovered a
gun, a laptop computer and
a car stereo stolen during
the burglaries and entering
autos.
The incident remains under
investigation by the Hall
County Sheriff’s Office,
Criminal Investigation
Division.

The Banks County Sheriff’s Office respond
ed to a residence on Ervin Chambers Road
Sunday concerning a dispute between a man
and his wife.
Both parties contended the other had been
physically abusive although the responding
officer said there were no signs of assault on
either party. The couple’s child had already
been taken to another family member’s resi
dence.
The husband was in the process of gather
ing his personal belongings to stay at his
parents. No arrests were made.

week, the BCSO responded to:

dence.
•battery at a Freedom Lane, Commerce,
residence.
•harassment at a Gardinder Road, Homer,
residence.
•verbal dispute at a McClure Road,
Gillsville, residence.
•dispute at Comfort Inn on Eisenhower
Drive as a woman said a man was holding her
against her will inside a room.
•dispute at a Wells Road, Homer, resi
dence.
•dispute at a Queen Road, Gillsville, resi
dence.
•threats by phone at a Sample Scales Road,
Homer, residence.
•harassment at a Erwin Chambers Road,
Homer, residence.
•dispute at a Mt. Sinai Road, Lula, resi
dence.
•dispute at a Sims Bridge Road, Commerce,
residence.
•phone harassment at a Bell Acres Drive
residence.

residence between a woman’s boyfriend and
her grandmother over money.
