Anderson Davis is East
High’s star basketball player
Troy Bolton. Anderson's New
York credits include “Les
Miserables” (2006 Revival on
Broadway), “Damn Yankees”
(Encores!) and workshops of
“Side Show” and “Pure Coun
try.” Regionally, he’s appeared
in “West Side Story” (Port
land Center Stage), “A Funny
Thing Happened On The Way
To The Forum” (Denver Center
Theater) and most recently he
starred in the role of Marius in
the Theater of the Stars produc
tion of “Les Miserables” at the
Fox.
Arielle Jacobs reprises her
role as the sweet brainiac Ga
briella Montez. She originated
the role in Theater of the Stars
professional premier of Dis
ney's “High School Musical”
and starred in the first national
tour of the show. Other the
ater credits include “A Chorus
Line,” “Cinderella,” “Babes In
Arms,” “The Rose of Corazon”
and workshops for “Mask The
Musical.” Her other passions
are writing, painting and pho
tography and she created an
environmental, child-friendly

Rebecca Faulkenberry stmts

of Sharpay Evans, East High’s
drama diva. This world traveler
was bom in Texas, grew up in
Bermuda, received her under
graduate training at Indiana
University, then got her masters
degree in Scotland. She starred
as Sharpay in London's West
End production of Disney’s
“High School Musical.” Other
credits include “The Lion, The
Witch and the Wardrobe” (West
Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds),
“The Royal Family” and “The
Mikado” (Seaside Music The
atre, Florida) and “Slow Dance
With A Hot Pick Up” (Wells
Metz Theatre, Indiana).
Bobby List is Sharpay’s
brother, Ryan Evans, co-pres
ident of the Drama Club and
East High’s favorite dancer. He
starred in the role in Theater of
the Stars professional premiere
of Disney's “High School Mu
sical” and in the first national
tour. As a recent graduate of
CCM, Bobby has been seen
playing opposite Debby Boone
in “The Human Comedy” at
Barrington Stages and in Rich
ard Maltby Jr.'s newest musical
“The 60’s Project” at the Good-
speed Opera House.
Shannon Antalan portrays
science club president, Tay
lor McKessie. Her Broadway
credits include “Caroline or
Change” and “Xanadu” and
Off-Broadway she appeared in
“Junie B. Jones.” She starred
as Inez in the first national tour
of “Hairspray.” One of her fa
vorite regional parts was that of
the leading role in Abyssinia.

Paul Downs Colaizzo plays
aspiring chef and Troy's team
mate Zeke Baylor. Paul may be
best known for his role as Van
on the hit daytime television se
ries “As The World Turns.” Paul
graduated from Chattahoochee
High School in Alpharetta.
Michael Mahany recreates
his role as Jack Scott, “the vel
vet fog” news announcer of East
High. He originated the role in
the Theater of the Stars profes
sional premiere of Disney’s
“High School Musical” and
was in the first national tour of
the show. Off-Broadway he ap
peared in “Spring Awakening”
(ATC) and “Mister Fabulous”
(York Theatre). Regional cred
its include “Forward.”
Olivia Oguma portrays pia
nist and composer Kelsi Niels
en. She starred as Kelsi in the
Theater of the Stars profession
al premier of Disney’s “High
School Musical” as well as in
the first national tour. Broadway
and national tour credits include
“Mamma Mia,” “A Christmas
Carol” and “Les Miserables.”
Regionally, she's appeared
in “BFE” (Long Wharf) and
“Skin Of Our Teeth” (Bristol
Riverside) and her television
credits include “Law & Order,”

County Elementary School
is holding a Save The Earth
Art Contest. The purpose is to
encourage and teach students,
and grown-ups alike, about
the importance of protecting
the environment.
The curriculum at BCES
will focus on how environ
mental problems could be
addressed and will encourage
the students to help find solu
tions to these problems.
Art teacher Katie Harrison
started a recycling program at
the elementary school for the
collection of plastic bottles
and paper last year and it con
tinues on this year.
Many materials we use ev
ery day can be reused and re
cycled, leaders said. We must
teach our children ways to
reduce how much garbage we
throw away.
Students will be asked to
draw a picture suggesting
ideas and actions that the
student can take to increase
awareness and protect our en
vironment.
Waste Management and
R&B Landfills goal is to get
the students thinking about
the problem and providing
us with their solutions in art
form.
The artwork should be
drawn in color on an 8 ¥2 X
11 inch piece of white paper.
The drawings will be judged
on how well the artwork rep
resents ideas on protecting
our environment, recycling or
reusing and artistic merit on
each grade level.
Students will submit their
drawing to the art teacher by
the end of the school day on
Nov. 14. For identification,
their name, age and grade
should be printed on the back
side of the drawing.
Winners will be announced
December 5. First, second,
and third place winners will
be selected from each grade
third, fourth and fifth. First
place winners will receive a
$50 gift certificate. Second
place winners will receive
a $25 gift certificate. Third
place winners will receive a
$15 gift certificate.

Security Administration re
cently announced.
