Crime
Theft of copper reported on Hwy. 164
A resident of Highway
164, Commerce, reported a
burglary to the Banks County
Sheriffs Office on Monday,
Dec. 8.
The resident said someone
entered his basement within
the past three weeks and cut
a large majority of the copper
plumbing and wiring out of
the house and took all of the
breakers out of the breaker
box.
The BCSO also responded
to the following incidents
during the past week:

•mail scam at a Water Plant
Road, Commerce, residence.
•two open doors at The Pot
tery building, Pottery Road,
Commerce.
•suicide threats at a Com
