We learn that both at the Warm and
White Bnlphnr Springs, in Meriwether

the Warm Bprings, Golumbua ia well

well patronized this year. Cheap railroad

the desire of husbands to get wives and

The various towns along the line have

Piooies were the order of the Fourth

were found at eVery depot, and not a few
were put off the train for lack of money
to pay fare. The darkies thought this

"Bilver Rights bill”—that didn't pace
Congress—gives them the right to ride
free on the oars.

Columbus baa a sat of roaming street
boys, who are almost uncontrollable, and
are going to the bad at break neck speed.
The little fellows are so amusing at times
with their antios, -slang, and quaint ex
pressions, and pot up suah sad, dolorous
faoee, that they are Worth studying. The
other day a gentleman at the depot wait
ing for a train, tired of "ehawin’ am,
gave a boy a pocket-full of goobers. A
smaller boy appreaobad Ihe bigger one,
begging for “just one," but nary a goober
did he get. Little fallow then approaabad
the gentleman with the Saddest of coun

“Mister, pleas’er gim me a nickel to buy
Are cents' worth of goobers for my poor

excuse was too thin.

We but give the endorsement of all who
have beard them. Go and hear them to

especially whan they furnish our people
with sooh choice and humorous evenings.
All will feel better, even ‘the bluest indi

dullest of times aud prediot worse ones,
after attending this entertainment and
enjoying good baarty laughter, which will
smooth out all the wrinkles. Tha adver
