For some time past tho citizens in and

ascertained that tho mill was tube robbed,
he made for the front door of the mill, and
when lie got there found a stout negro in

The members of St. James Colored
Methodist Church gave a concert last
night at Springer’s Opera House.
The house was crowded with well dit'ss

creditable one indeed. The singing was
very good. Some of the characters were
acted well, and the costumes appropriate.
Wo learn the concert netted over one

will enjoy themselves from tlie fact such

Then, ivs the 3 ears pass by, add to it one

But build a monument, pointing ever to
the sky;
Inscribe upon it the her -names that

Chihli eu wi 1 read with pride, of patriot

In thus** dark, but gallant days, when 1 he

Thus quicken the sacred fire—thus all our

France has its Place Ven lonic; monu

We have but vacant chairh to attest each
stricken home.
Built, then, a monument; for ’twill heal

Let it Im) to tin* South what to England ta

Not the bitterness of Marsh, not hatred's
heavy tread,
But a souvenir of glory—a statue to oui

HEARTY BLOOMING WTIX>W.
M arietta. Ga., March 9, 1870.
Menton. Bnulfleid i* Oo^:
Gentlemen—You will please ship us an
other supply of your invaluable Female
Regulator, and forward bill by mail. We
are happy to state that this remedy gives
better satisfaction than any article we
sell. We have been selling it since IBts,
and witnessed many remarkable cures b>
it. Among others, there was a lady
friend of ours who was sallow and sickly
until she was twenty-six years old, when
she was married. Her husband lived two
wars and died. She continued m iad
health; in fact, tdie hits never been what
a woman ought to be. A tew months
after the death of her husUtnd she saw
your advertisement, and came to our
store and bought a bottle ot >our Regula
tor from us, and bKk it according to di
rations. It has cure! her sound and
well, brought her regular monthly peri
ods on. and to-day she is a hearty, bhajm
ing widow— with 'the use of but two bot
tles of your Regulator, costing her only
three dollars, when she had tried several
physicians and B|>ent a great deal of
money without any l*uctit. Wishing you
great success with your valuable reme
dies, we are, respectfully yours, etc.,
