Colonel A. M. Haywood Was Relieved After Years of
Constant Suffering.
KITE PAST OF ONE OF (WEN NEBB TONIC.
A Tape Worm Forty-two Feet In Length Is Passed, the Result of a Trial Bottle of
This Famous Remedy, and One of Brunswick’s Best and Most Widely
Known Citizens Bears Testimony to the Quaker Doc
tor and llis Celebrated Medicine.
Again has the wonderful Quaker Doctor demonstrated his right to the confidence
of the people of Brunswick and this time his cure is of one of Brunswick’s best Known
citizens and a gentleman who occupies idtonspieuous position in the secret order world,
not only of Georgia, but of the entire States. The Times refers to Colonel A. M.
Haywood, of 704 Dartmouth street, who has lived here all his life amongst the people of
Glynn and who has traveled eifi%s?ate in the Union in the interests of various secret
orders that he is so largely interested in, *
Colonel Haywood has been for years a silent sufferer and when The Times pub
lished a few days ago an account of the remarkable cure affected by the celebrated Qua
ker Doctor on Beauregard, the twelve year old son of Dr. Wim r ßivUuswicK’s well
known dentist, Colonel Haywood sought the Quaker Doctor and explained to him the na
tnre of his suffering. The Quaker Doctor diagnosed his case and told Col. Haywood that
if he would take just one part of a bottle of his famous Quaker Herb Tonic he would
guarantee to cure him inside of twenty-four hours. Colonel Haywood was so impressed
with of the Quaker DoctorlihTt the that he had of his
case, frojn his prompt diagnoses, that he accepted his conditions without
question and carried a bottle of the Quaker Herb Tonic home for consumption. As pre
dicted by Doctor the results followed that were in every way satisfactory to
Colonel Haywood and the Quaker Doctor. In less than twfcnty-four hours after the
first dose of the Quaker Herb Tonic was taken* by Colonel Haywood he passed a tape
worm that was complete from head to tail, and foity-two feet in length. The tape worm
was carried to Polhill’s drug store, corner Newcastle and Gloucester streets, where it
was viewed by hundreds yesterday and many people testified to having seen it. It
will remain on exhibition as a testimonial to the Quaker Doctor’s great remedy. The
Quaker Doctor has established headquarters at PolhiTs popular drug store and is there
every day for consultation, free to every one.
COLONEL A. M. IIAYWOOL.
Col. A. M. Haywood, the subject of this sketch, is, as above stated, one of the best
known men in the country. He is especially active in all matters pertaining to secret
order societies, and has an established reputation as one of the most prominent workers
in the various orders he represents and is a member of. He has recently been made
Deputy Vice-President and District Manager of (he Bankers’ Union, one of the strongest
fraternal orders in the United States, and a recent issue of the official organ of that order,
The Bankers Union Herald, says of him and his work'.
“COLONEL A. M. HAYWOOD
“Assumes the work of deputy vice-president and district manager in South Geor
gia, with headquarters at Brunswick.
“Colonel Haywood was born at Savannah, Ga., and his reputation for integrity
and ability is the best in the district where he is best known. He has had twenty-seven
years of experience in fraternal insurance. He is a member of the Masonic order, Odd
Fellows, Red Men, Knights of the Golden Eagle, Woodmen of the World, and has made
an exceptional record as a genuine and efficient hustler in the work of organizing uniform
and subordinate lodges of the Knights of Pythias. In his association with the K. of
r’s. Col. Haywood has for eight years been the Supreme Representative of the Grand Do
main of Georgia to the Supreme Lodge of the World, and has been on the staff of Gen
eral James R. Carnahan, of the Uniform Rank Knights of Pythias, for twelve years.
“Col. Haywood has in other orders held numerous grand and supreme honors, and
nings an address, enthusiasm, experience and association which guarantees a fine rec
ord in his field for the Bankers’ Union of the World.”
