giving the name (with initials) and
rank or rating of every one of the mi
litia making the oruise.
BHIP RKGUI.ATIONB.
1. Smoking hours are during mesl
hours, and from after evening quar
ters till 8 p. no. at sea, arid 9 p. m. in
port. Men who are on watch, or other
duty during meal hours, msj have a
short smoke after regular smoking
hours.
2. The places assigned for smoking
are as follows:
On the gun drck, between gun No.
1 and gun No. 4.
On the npper deck, abaft the cargo
hatch.
On the forecastle forward of fore*
hatch.
Men must not Congregate Dor oon
verse loudly near anyj deck state-
rooms.
3. Smoking anywhere below the
gun-deck is prohibited.
4. Men will endeavor at all tunes to
keep the deoks clean and neat—partic
iarly is this oaution necessary about
the mesa tables.
5. Mess tabla and mess-gear will
be promptly cleaned and put away af
ter “Turn-to.”
6. Spitting on the decks, or over the
side, is especially prohibited. Careful
attention to this matter is expeoted of
every person on ship-board.
7. Men will not loiter nor converse
on tbe upper deck anywhere between
the fore hatob and tbe after cargo
batch. In pasting from one part of
the ship to anothar, men will habit
ually use the port side. The ladder
from tbe forward deck house to tbe
gun-deok is reserved for officer?.

Two look-outs (one on each bow) will
he stationed from sunset to sunrise,
except during mid-vrateb. When not
at drill or daring meal hours, and
when the regular cfew are not in the
chaine, two men will heave the lead
from sunrise to sunset, taking turns
of twenty minute* eaob, and working
through the watch on deok.
Engineer’s force will be watched and
stationed by their own offioere, under
the general direction of the Chief .En
gineer of the ship.

At the meeting of the Brunawlok
Riflemen laat night the invitation
from the Daughters of the Confeder
acy to attend the entertainment given
at tha park tnright was eooepted.
The ocmpaDy will at the arm
ory promptly at 7:30, in full dress uni
form, and will Attend in a body.
The boys are rehearsing every night
for their minstrtl, whleh will b*gin
next Tuesday and Wednesday night.
They are in fine shape, and two nights
of fun and pleasure is assured all who
attend.
Reserve seats will be placed on eale
at Butts’ drug stcre Tuesday. Tickets
can be bought from any of the Rifle
men or Marioe band.
