FATHER ATTACKED MOTORMAN
Became Frantic When Told That
Hie Child Had Been Run Over.
New York, July 31.—Three-year-old
Annie Georgei, of 184 Hamilton aven
ue, Brooklyn, was crossing the street

noon when she was run over by a
trolley car of the Brooklyn Heights
Company. She had waited for a car
bound for tbe ferry to pass her and

her father, John Georgei, who was at

made a rush for the motorman, was
followed by a number of neighbors.
While Georgei wss making frantic ef
forts to assault tbe mslorman, some
one telephoned to the Hamilton avenue
police station. Tbe polioe found the
motorman keeping Georgei at a safe
distance by means of the brass con
troller of his car.
