Jury io the case of Fred Harmon,
charged with aetanlt with inteot to
rape, returned verdict of guilty of an
assault. Sentenced to 12 months on the
gang.
State vs. Sol. Wingfield, charged
with murder. Not guilty.
Af'er the session yesterday, Judge
Basnet discharged the Jnry until Jan
oary 7ib, and wished them all a merry

fied the - Hay-Bauncefote treaty by a
vote of lorty-fiva to eighteen, over two
thirds of the seuatore present voted.
