Brian Scott Logue, son of the late Hugh
and Brenda Tyre of Blackshear and
Cliff and Jane Logue of Waycross.
The bride-to-be is the grand
daughter of the late J.V. (Robbie)
Roberson, Christine Rober
son of Brunswick, the late
Robert Taylor and Betty
Taylor of Brunswick.
Miss Taylor is a
1999 graduate of
Brunswick High
School. She is
employed as
manager at Bar
bara Jean's res
taurant on St.
Simons Island.
The groom-to-
be is the grand
son of Elton
(Buddy) and
Betty Jo Gibbs
of Waycross and
the late David
and the late Fran
cis Logue.
Mr. Logue
graduated in 1996
from Pierce County
High School in Blacks
hear, Ga. He is currently
employed with AT&T as a
facility technician/cable repair.
He is also union president of Com
munication Work- Brian
ers of America Local 3209.
A 2:30 p.m. wedding is planned for
September 20 at Pine Ridge Baptist
Church.
A reception will follow at a private
home on St. Simons Island.

Musical "Aladdin” opens July 16
The Island Players 2008 Young
People's Summer Workshop Produc
tion of "Abracadabra Aladdin," a
magical, musical romp through the
land of the Young People, opens at
the Casino Theatre on July 16 and
runs through July 27.
With a cast of 80 (40 per night)
the stage comes alive with when
Aladdin tries to win the hand of
Princess Jasmine while the wicked
siblings Halima and Jamal try to get
the magic lamp.
Aladdin is played by Travis Hart
and Alec Smith; Princess Jasmine
played by Ellen Boyette & Lydia
Nicholes; the wicked siblings Hali
ma and Jamal played by Lindsey
Smith and Jennifer Jenkins with Ian
Brissey and James Reams.
"Aladdin" is directed by Joan Har
ris, assisted by Rob Jenkins, accom
panied by Beverly Fetter, produced
by Miles Brooks, choreographed by
Jessica Gibbs, and costumed by Luck
Bryson and P.J. Hamilton.
Evening performances are 8 p.m.;
matinees at 4 p.m. Tickets are $6
for youth 18 and under and $8 for
