Ours said, "The committee asked
staff to work up options on these sites
including specific information on issues
such as zoning, drainage, access to the
courthouse, elevation and the availabil
ity of utilities."
Being the JAC's first meeting it
was an organizational meeting during
which former Federal Law Enforce
ment Training Center Director Charles
Rinkevich was elected chairman.
During the meeting the jail group
also reviewed the Special Master's
report on the jail expansion location.
Each Glynn County Commissioner
appointed one person to the JAC. The
Islander attempted to obtain the list of
JAC members last week but it had not
been received before press time. □

members. Sid Babjak, Donna Ainger
and Ralph Ainger of St. Simons Island
and Jerry Knight of Brunswick. These
four new members bring many years of
experience to the Flotilla. Sid recently
retired from the Army after 29 years of
service. Donna retired from the Fair
fax County Police Department. Ralph
is a retired Firefighter/Paramedic for
the City of Manassas, VA. Jerry is a
