Mr. Ross V. Bush, who was a

tion. Col. Bush and his wife will
move from his father’s dwelling in
a few days. Their home is con

will be an ornament to that sec
tion of our city.

ings and mob violence. His re
marks along this line elicited
the approval of a large number
of his hearers. In just a few in
stances there have been lynchings
in this county. Joe Fullford and
two of his negro accomplice
were lynched here years ago fo r
the murder of Mrs. Fullford, Fuil
ford’s wife.
Sheriff Jno. A. Phillips brought
in the jury list Saturday. Many
