Mr Eli Tabb met his son, Mr
Howard Tabb, here Saturday.
The younger gentleman brought
news that about fifteen dip vats
had been ruined Friday night in
Decatur county by dynamite.
Mr Howard Tabb has Veen sta
tioned in the Attapulgus commun
ity enforcing the dipping regula
tions.
He says that the citizens of De
catur, after dipping their cattle
for about fifteen years, are now
tired, but that the licks are not
yet extinct.

field, of this city; and the preacher
is a son of that couple. His moll -
er died when lie was an infant,

is a dsughter by this last wife
In the edifice Sunday sat Mrs
Stevenson, a daughter of the Intel
Marion Platt, by his first wife,
who was Miss Ami lia Sheffield.
Mr. Platt, who was a former slier
iti of this county, was married;

Master Arthur, the son of Mr.
and Mrs C. A. Sheffield, who has
heen down with typhoid fever at
the home of his darents for more
than a month, is still very ill. He
had taken the sjruru treatment at
the McL'iidon School last spring;
and thos familiar with the facta
re surprised at such a stuborn
case. We hope the lad, about ten
vears of age, will reCuver soon.
